Ok, so I will say, I can see why it might bother someone a little bit that you can make a forum post and haven't picked yet (unless you sent in the pick around when you made the post and calhoop just hasn't processed it yet). I made a pick without sufficient internet access to make any player searches at all, taking an outfielder in the 2nd round after I took an outfielder in the first round, because I learned that everybody else was waiting on my pick. That being said, everybody had been waiting on my pick a lot longer than we've been waiting on this one, and in an untimed draft I would have a hard time saying that anything under 24 hours isn't fair game. I find it a little unfair that you started taking a bunch of heat for being "the last one" less than 15 hours after we got the sitemail asking for picks - with a night in there throughout the continental United States - just because everybody else in the league has been responding very quickly. Frankly, with no schedule to plan for, ~7 waking hours feels pretty fast to get grumpy about.
OTOH, now that I learned my lesson I have my next 4 prospective picks, in order, ready to go. So as soon as I see that sitemail, I just check this thread, and unless I'm pretty unlucky in the current round, able to send my top guy in about 60 seconds!
