BTW, I'm sort of wondering how no one picked super-pinch hitter, the one and only Glenallen Hill. Was sort of looking for someone to pick up the old ex-Cub (and Yankee) in that last round. So, please let this count as an Honorable Mention. ;-`

Speaking for myself, I had already filled that position with Les Mann - and I wound up needing another full season from an outfielder.

From what I've heard, they should appear sometime this week.

I read this to mean they are not eligible to be rostered even if they come out in the next few days.

The draft IS over. They aren't yet in the database. ..

The point was obviously not to change the draft pool once the draft had started. Why on earth would there be a loophole about the semantics of the draft being "over?"

The ballpark(s) of the Chicago Cubs (Whitestockings, Orphans) franchise before 1894 aren't even in the SLB Theme League database? What's up with that?

Spilling the beans. I didn't think this was a DH theme until I saw it listed in the roster just a couple hours ago! I made the same mistake in 2017-only draft theme about a year ago; there I didn't find out till late in the drafting IIRC. (I won't mention the result, cuz that could be interpreted as boasting.) ;-` I'll see how fortune treats my ignorance, these three times...

Reiteration:

This theme is extraordinary fun and I'd be happy to do it again laid out exactly as it is now, at least one more time. I'd also be happy to do three-tiers, after this, or after that.

I never thought I'd have a team with Dolph Camilli, Bobby Doerr, Lew Fonseca, Pete Reiser, Paul Goldschmidt, Sammy Sosa, Jimmy Rollins, Paul Blair, Kevin Mitchell... etc. And those pitchers! Didn't know a few of them ever existed!
