Yet another discussion we've had here multiple times before. I know some people don't agree, but I feel people who hold certain positions, like POTUS, VP, Policeman, Teacher, etc., deserve respect while in that position. I don't think it should be up to individuals to determine when and where they treat those positions with respect. You, of course, disagree. Why rehash the same thing yet again?

BTW, it was HRC who started the "birther ****", so let's place the blame where it belongs.
House committee chaired by the GOP closed the investigation into Hillary's emails yesterday.

nothingburger. No charges. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Let's put her to rest Now, finally.
As much as you'd love to ignore the fact, HRC was the only other choice for POTUS that all American voters realistically had. That can not be "put to rest" and forgotten. It was one of the two, and I will forever be comfortable with my choice, and with defending him against people who attack him with lies, half-truths and otherwise unfounded babble.
Why don't you stop wasting your time here and instead go write Officer Singh's family a letter explaining how great illegals are and why we should let them flood our Country unchecked.
That was horrible. How many people must die to make sure fancy Nancy and Cryin' Chuck get their paychecks?

DEMONAZIS don't care anymore. Their new job is to destroy America. SAD.

I saddens me to read the BS on the last couple pages. WTH do people today think THEY get to decide which people in positions of respect "deserve" that respect? They couldn't be more wrong. Everyone is a position of authority demands everyone's respect. If those people have done something that means they don't deserve their positions and the accompanying respect, then they should not be in those positions. Do something to get them out - legally and rightfully - not by lies and innuendo. However, as long as they hold their position, they should be respected by everyone, including those who might believe they don't deserve it. That's what is known as "Respecting Authority", and it is NOT for individuals to decide. It used to be an American tradition to have it. Something American were proud to proclaim. Now it's p*ssed-on b those who think they know better. They DON'T!
What kind of crazy, f'd-up World do we live in, where people want to respect being able to select what gender you want to be that day, but not respect authority? SAD, SAD, SAD!
what i get outta this is this, and i quote: "Everyone in a position of authority demands everyone's respect."

Lol. Do you have any idea what our country was founded on? It certainly wasn't respecting people just because of the position they hold.

you think the founding fathers respected authority?

you're a bigger tard than I thought if tthat's what you think.

those who give respect receive respect.
when the one on top does not respect others then he does not receive respect nor should he expect to receive it.

so, why the hell do you get to tell me who I should respect? I totally get that you feel people should respected based on their position. That is your right to feel that way. Why is it not my right to feel that people need to earn my respect, not just be given it based on the job they hold?

Oh no, Taint called me a name. I'm hurt. Gonna go cry.
I think I'll stick with preferring that society determines what positions deserve respect instead of having loud-mouth opinionated a-holes like him decide for everyone. He doesn't even have the balls to be a true Trump-hater; he falls all over himself backpedalling every time something anti-Trump looks stupid. I'm done trying to converse rationally and civilly with someone who is obviously incapable of doing so.
Ha, ironic! You commenting on Taint deciding for everyone else. Isn't that what you are doing by saying we should respect someone based on the position they hold instead of what they do to earn that respect?

He'll never see it in himself.

I've told no one who they should or shouldn't respect. Only one person doing it.

I originally said the committee got it right, but it looks like UGA should've been in. There was just no way to justify it.
