a decline means people are starting to think for themseves without believe it or else hanging over their heads.
what i have said in my last few posts are the root of it all.....you cant talk about religion without first understanding why religion in the first place...why do people believe in the old religions and why are people moving away from them.
the catholic church has caused a lot of catholics to reconsider more than just catholicism...it has also caused a lot to reconsider the deity of jesus and the believability of the old testament......thats the real truth you guys should be realizing.

Religion started as a moral code ostensibly enforced by a deity (but a social construct), and become a cash-cow business run by weasels who try to broker trips to heaven for the uneducated and gullible.

There are some who believe from the beginning GOD had a personal one-on-one relationship with MAN.

That would be the Jews.

There are some who believe the Jews missed their Messiah.

That would be the Christians.

And then there's everybody else.

Why didn't he offer food and shelter and comfort and healing to hurricane victims in his city?
