A Quinnipiac University poll released Monday found that 63 percent of voters agree with the Democratic proposal to reopen parts of the government that do not involve border security, with 30 percent opposed. The same poll found 63 percent also oppose using the shutdown to force wall funding, with just 32 percent supporting.

The poll found that 56 percent of American voters blame Trump and Republicans in Congress for the partial shutdown, compared with 36 percent who say Democrats are responsible.

An earlier Washington Post-ABC News poll also found more Americans blame Trump and the Republicans than the Democrats over the stalemate -- though the same survey showed support for a wall growing to 42 percent, up from 34 percent a year ago.

You had your question answered, you just didn't like the answer. Very typical of Trump-haters. No one person, or even one Party is to blame for the mess that is the current American Government, and nobody who didn't get paid for two weeks is "suffering". If they are out of money, it is because they either live over their heads, budget poorly or not at all, or both. If you want to see suffering, there are plenty of places on this Planet you can go, but the USA is NOT one of them.

Maybe "suffering" is the wrong word. They are certainly experiencing some kind of hardship. I don't live over my head, or budget poorly, but if my family had to go several weeks without my paycheck, we would find it a little difficult. Maybe you're different. Regardless of whether those people budget poorly or live above their means, it doesn't matter. They are still going without a paycheck through no fault of their own.

As I have said many times, I do not hate Donald Trump. I hate his lying. I hate the way he has made the office of the POTUS a laughing stock (in my opinion) and I hate the way he doesn't seem to care about anyone by himself, but I don't hate him.

You want examples? Just research how many Democrats (including HRC and BO) have favored and spoken-out FOR a wall in the past (since that is this thread's topic header).
