Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke, Orel Hershiser, and Don Sutton. Which of those four guys (Eichhorn is a high innings reliever) would you call a "flash in the pan?" And who cares about career stats? You're using ONE SEASON.
Greinke is a basket case, it's all over the place, Good, Bad, Average, whatever

Sutton has maybe one good season in him? True we are saying one season, Not career, but he doesn't have the IP

They are the flash in the pans... I'd rather have Messersmith or Valenzuela, they produce better in WIS

True, you don't want Greinke messing up your digital clubhouse.

So we're back to picking whatever (head shake) people can find time in their busy schedules, it only takes a minute or two, if you know what you're doing?

(Head shake, again) Seriously, protecting Eduardo Alfonso or Kenley Jansen, anyone that would want to steal them has their own problems, both of whom they could replace with a half dozen players from their Own team, instead of Protecting... SP Bill Singer, Andy Messersmith, Jon Matlack, Fernando Valenzuela, Jerry Koosman, Mike Hampton (who does very good in WIS) Burt Hooton, Jerry Reues... Just to name a few, I know there's more? Sorry, you know what they say, you Snooze you Lose???
I was ready all day yesterday but sinfonian is fostering four kids which is kind of more important than imaginary baseball. Unfortunately the keepers went up after I was available and my top choice got pulled back so I'm reassessing now.
No problem, pumpkin. Appreciate you understanding.

I NO Idea where we are in the draft?

Are we getting close to my pick, I pick 5th in each round?

I need to relieve the Mets or the Dodgers of some of their Crappy SP, haha

still can't get over the fact that all these posts are from the same dude who's made sure to protect Sal Perez & Omar Moreno.

With the first pick in the second round, the Tampa Bay Rays of Satan select J.R. Richard from the Houston Astros.

Sitemail sent.

If only there was a mechanism in this theme for protecting Willie Stargell (an outfielder).

Sutton is a Hall of Famer who won 300+ games. His most used season in this league has 285 IP. But, hey, whatever floats your boat.

As alleyviper mentioned, we try not to mention players who are yet to be protected or drafted, as not to influence the draft. Thanks.

Sometimes you got to protect the players that you NEED... Omar Moreno is the best "modern day" OF the Pirates have ever had, wis is all messed up? Dave Parker's considered one of the best outfielders of his generation, along with Dwight Evans & their defensive ratings are D's at best, go figure? No base runner, with any sense, EVER took the extra Base against Parker or Evans? It was like tugging on Superman's cape, spitting into the wind, or messing around with Jim?

The best modern day OF on a franchise that employed Barry Bonds.

I remember Sal Perez getting similar hype last preseason.
