still can't get over the fact that all these posts are from the same dude who's made sure to protect Sal Perez & Omar Moreno.
and Mike Sweeney!
Sweeney's 2000 season was Remarkable, better than Most 1B, except for maybe Lou Gehrig?
I'm sorry, I have to ask. Are you Jon Bois?
Nope, I live in the Midwest & I have no idea who Jon Bois IS, Ive never heard of him?

Got time to kill in between picks, why not spin controversial BS?

Thought for sure we'd have seen Jack Morris come up by now....

Noted bad base stealer: Pittsburgh Pirate Barry Bonds
Not bad base stealer, until he got hooked into steroids, in his last few seasons he couldnt steal a base carrying a threatening GUN! You could clock his speed down to 1B using a Sundial?! Barry HAD to hit it out of the park, like I said - In his last few seasons, so he could get round the bases?

I feel like later career Bonds was making up for the lack of speed in other facets of his game.

He did hit several of those "homed runs" which I am led to believe are one of the best ways of scoring points in this game.

Imagine a world where there are more optimal ways of hitting than home runs, and late in your career you must resort to simply hitting home runs instead of doing something else.

...wait, is beef playing Blernsball?

From now on, can we just do drafts instead of actually playing the season?

With the first pick in the second round, the Tampa Bay Rays of Satan select J.R. Richard from the Houston Astros.

Sitemail sent.
WHY would anyone NOT protect this guy, one of the BEST Astros pitchers in their teams history? Good pick!
Brother, can you lend me 5 million dollars? Then I can afford both Bagwell's $12M year and J.R.'s overpriced 100-inning season. I'm so disappointed that you didn't call me out for letting Bagwell go, I'd protect him first.
J.R. has some barely simworthy full seasons but Houston has like a zillion pitchers just as good. I could lose 3 more and still have JR quality pitcher left. or just play a big bullpen strategy because JR would've been the worst pitcher on my team.

The Astros' Trash is the Rays' Treasure.

Just got home from work. No WIS access at work. That's why I picked a team with an early morning draft time. Pick imminent.
