Completely agree that we should have NO problem waiting several days for this draft to kickoff. It takes a lot of research to prepare for this draft. Once we've each made our first pick, things should move quickly.

The last draft we had (16x16) moved very quickly. Didn’t have to resort to the clock. This should be similar.

I appreciate the patience. Research is done and so many ways to go here, but I'm starting off with:
Isringhausen, Jason 2003 St. Louis Cardinals 1,314,618

A very usable season, a monster teammate in Pujols, and a spot near the top of the next round, too.

2003 definitely isn't Pujols BEST seasons, but most of his seasons are pretty reliable & pretty much the same, I'm just saying there's no reason to Reach - for him in the first round, JUST to keep your total salary down? Players are going to be there anywhere, in the draft, even the 250k dead weight guys... To keep your salary down?
