Yes, I think judges trying to legislate from the bench is a much bigger threat to our country's preservation than anything Trump has done. It is much easier the hold the president accountable than it is the judicial branch. If you think Trump is damaging to our nation's integrity. you can vote him out. The president cannot legislate. He does have limited executive power within the bounds of our laws and constitution, but if he oversteps his authority we have judges to stop him.
so, you are saying a Judge should not overturn Roe vs wade because it has already been decided? Or does it only work if they are "legislating" a decision you are not in favor of?
I don't have a strong opinion on this one either. Of course judges (and sports officials) are paid to not show biases, but they are human, and they will show some bias. If they are good at their job, they won't let their biases affect their judgements very much, but it is human nature that their biases will affect some of their decisions.
I won't speak directly to Rowe v Wade as we will get to abortion in a few days, but cases can be originally decided unconstitutionally. Like I said, Plessy v Ferguson was originally decided wrong and unconstitutionally based on the sentiment of the period as opposed to what our constitution states. Brown v BOE corrected this.

I wish we had a topic of sanctuary cities and how judges have totally allowed them to ruin our country.
LOL sanctuary cities haven't ruined anything.
see? just what I was saying. CCCP thinks sanctuary cities have ruined America. BL thinks they are great. It all depends on your biases!
It's not that I think they're great. I think they're not a big deal. It's not local law enforcement's job to enforce immigration laws.

And bias gets a bad rap, but everyone sees the world through their own eyes. That's bias. Two people can read the exact same phrase in the constitution and see it saying two difference things and not be partisan or arguing in bad faith.

Doesn't Brown vs BOE kind of go against your "government should stay out of our every day lives" view?

not really important as to whether you think they are great or not. I was just pointing out that two people can see the same situation in very different ways.

well, again, just because you find them illogical, that doesn't mean I would find the illogical. I think I can safely say I've seen posts from yo that I thought were illogical, but you probably felt they were completely logical. Same goes the other way. I'm sure you've seen posts from me you felt were illogical, but probably did not feel that way.

Are we still allowed to ask that question?
I thought the Libs wanted Jesus/God out of everything. (Or is it only Government, schools, History and morality they want them removed from?)

Yeah, it's not like 50% of liberals are Christian.

I don't support sanctuary cities, and I don't support illegal immigration.
