I know your q was for Dino but I’ll give you my answer. He can’t be impeached over it but he should resign.

Any adult who thinks it’s appropriate to either dress in black face or a klan robe and then highlight that photo on their personal med-school yearbook page doesn’t have the sense to lead an entire state. He needs to resign.

im glad you asked...if hewas in high school i would let it go......if 19-20 probably...but he was 25 years old...grad med school.

I agree with most of what was said, but not everything. I think child pornography is multitudes worse and I don't think the picture was harmful to anyone. Saying that, I'm not an emotional or sensitive person (except for when it comes to children born or unborn) and very little offends, so in my mind I think it's stupid when people are offended by inanimate objects. I actually think it's stupid when people are offended by words, but i'm weird. I don't expect others to be like me. Actually, I oftentimes warn people not to be like me. It's not healthy.

We do all agree that racists are garbage human beings and we agree that lying made the situation much worse for him.

I will say, when you coach a college sport, you learn very quickly that 100% of college aged kids are stupid. Even the 4.0 students are stupid. They're all stupid. Some are less stupid than others, but they're all stupid. Actually we have all been cursed with being a college aged kid at some point in our life. I guess I'm more willing to forgive stupid actions of young people.

Let me ask you this. If he had came out before it went public (or even after it went public) and said "I did something very stupid when I was young and i'm sincerely regretful of my actions. I ask that if anyone was harmed by my stupidity that they please forgive me." would you still be calling for his resignation?

I agree there is a difference between a 25 year old med school student and a 22 year old undergrad. I am still interested in an answer to the question that I posed at the end of my post.

if he came out with it totally on his own.....not because someone found it and i believed he was sincere and had great remorse i would probably be ok with him..if he felt a bit like a fraud and could not live with what he had done and needed in his heart to be honest with the public it would be possibly brave and moral and it would be different.
i see no reason to believe anything he says..he has zero credibility imo.

imo he was a racist at 25.

What he did 35 years ago is not nearly as big of an issue as what he did the last few days. He has to go.
