Thanks for sharing that link. I enjoyed the perspective. Also made me think about Soriano more, since I almost never see him used in the sim. Weak defense and low OBP aren't helping his cause, but the power-speed combo isn't too common. I'm guessing he plays pretty well in leagues within his era, though.

I agree with the writer when he said that on first seeing Soriano, he looked like he was going to be a star. I remember him in 2001, watched him closely in that post-9/11 post-season, thinking this guy's going to be a Hall of Famer if he stays healthy for 15 years.
