so if we spent more money at home and built a more moral country at home we might be more powerful today.....impossible to say that isnt true.
Since morality is subjective how does one build a more moral country? By redlining those who have opposing views?
OUCH!!

Wait, so having God-given freedoms leads to anarchy? Is that your claim? I'm confused.
You suggested very few laws? Every law reduces freedoms.

(BTW that's a slippery slope)

OR I could say that you want religious freedom so you support a theocracy.
2/10/2019 4:21 PM
You could say that, but it would be stupid for you to say that. That would be the opposite of religious freedom. Here's where we are. I am not going to try to prove to you that you views and many other young people's views are dangerous. There are history books for that. I just hope that our young generation wakes up before it's too late.

One final thing, you never responded to my Thomas Jefferson quote. Was Thomas Jefferson making a "slippery slope" argument and did he understand world history?
2/10/2019 4:32 PM
Jefferson's point is true. Power tends to corrupt. That will happen regardless of what policies exist.

Education and infrastructure are two.

Proportional paying is better than just paying the same amount.
yeah, but the public education system and the infrastructure in this ountry have been going downhill for a while. Unfortunately, that is not where most of our taxes are going.
Maybe we should make individual Politicians foot the bill when they start a witch-hunt investigation that yields absolutely nothing. That would certainly cut-down on what this Country wastes catering to Political agendas.
All3 is seriously bying Trump's bullshit.
And you don’t understand why it’s impossible for all opportunities to be equal even though I ve explained it to you multiple times. You’re either trolling or you’re stupid. Which is it?

You clearly didn't read any of my posts. I said that some inequity is good.

Do I need to break out CCCP-bot?

So, do you disagree with our founding fathers that the way to combat this is by limiting government?

You guys just can't help but revert to ad hominem at a moment's notice. (tang seems fascinated with informal logical fallacies today.)

Yes, because power will then corrupt the businesses and smaller governments.

You think you can reduce the amount of power available?

No one is born exactly equal. So I am not sure why you’re on your social justice crusade.

Where was the ad hominem? I missed it.

Big Govt doesn’t work. You’re arguing just to argue.

You STILL aren't reading my posts.

I said that some inequality is good. No two people are exactly equal. That said, many institutions in our country are not equal enough to allow all classes, races, religions, and people to succeed as much as they should.

Neither does no government or limited government.

No system is perfect. I prefer a more centralized government with strong democratic institutions.
