52% of respondents like how Trump is handling the Economy. So Min wage is not a big issue anymore it seems?
yeah, but who are the respondents? You can make a poll show whatever you want by only asking certain people, wording te questions a certain way and many other ways
It is the Gallup Pole. According to bad luck it is the be all and end all of polls
so what? according to BL the rich should have a 99% tax rate.

According to all b_l's polls, Trump was going to lose the election by double-figures and well over 100 Electoral Votes.

According to most polls, Trump was projected to get 2-4% less votes than Clinton. Which was...exactly what happened.

Yards don’t matter. TDs and Field Goals do. Electoral College determines the POTUS. Learn how the system works. Oh and the Mets suck. Red Sox world champs.

Topic of the day: Legalization of Marijuana

I am socially against Marijuana. It makes people not give a **** about life. My evidence is both anecdotal and scientific. Saying that, my views on marijuana are intellectually consistent with everything else. It's not the government's responsibility to save people from themselves. What you do in your home is your business. If you want to be stupid, go for it. I am for the legalization of Marijuana. Yesterday, all3 mentioned that we don't need more impaired drivers. This can be policed in the same manner as DUI's from alcohol and should obviously still be crime as you are endangering other people's lives.

I actually agree with strikeout. I am not a pothead myself but it's not.as dangerous as people.say from what I have heard and is very useful to some people. The government shouldn't interfere with this. Plus, the finances would help.

Oh, it's very dangerous to the part of the brain associated with decision making and emotional processing. The science proves this. It makes you not give a **** about life. Marijuana is very dangerous. It's just not the governments place to save people from making stupid decisions that don't directly harm anyone else.

This is NOT what b_l was posting prior to the election. There are several old threads full of proof if anyone cares to check, but we all know how b_l doesn't give a d*mn what BS he needs to post to try to make one of his ridiculous "points".

That said, I'm actually going to read his, and all the other Liberals', posts today (and today only), as I want to chuckle at the preposterous reasons they'd favor having millions of impaired drivers on our roadways, since I think our police forces already have more than enough on their agendas.

You could NOT be more wrong in your assessment. The "science" you refer to is incorrect and you obviously have ZERO idea of what you are talking about. Do some actual research and then get back to us with an INFORMED opinion and not haphazard, irresponsible continuations of the mythology you have obviously been fed about the effects of marijuana. I will light one up and wait for you to back up your nonsense claims, which you will NOT be able to do.

Might want to point the joint down for a second while you read a couple of studies. Here is a summary of some longitudinal studies from the apa. (The studies aren't from the apa, the summary is). You may research the actual studies if you like and come up with your own opinions.

Now remember RSP, i've already said that I think the government should not be able to tell you that you can't go light up that joint. Just don't trick yourself into thinking it's a benign activity.

The alcohol argument strikeout made is a good one. We aren't allowed to drive while high anyway. This wouldn't increase the number of people who are high while driving.
