diet soda makes you crave sweets.

pot can increase appetite and also lower appetite other parts of the day for heavy partakers.
if you have increased appetite there are choices about food...you dont have to have hamburgers.
2/14/2019 8:20 PM
Soda is terrible for people and especially kids. Should definitely have a warning label. Thanks for making my point.

Except you’re high so you don’t make the best choices.

diet soda should have the warning label if it has apramente ( sp ).
who doesnt know that pot gives you increased appetite.
if it had a warning about eating it would say increase in appetite after use....like thats going to matter ?
2/14/2019 8:55 PM
are you going to have warnings on hamburgers or any high calorie food too...fast food joints post calorie content.
2/14/2019 8:56 PM

Topic of the day: Legalization of Marijuana

I am socially against Marijuana. It makes people not give a **** about life. My evidence is both anecdotal and scientific. Saying that, my views on marijuana are intellectually consistent with everything else. It's not the government's responsibility to save people from themselves. What you do in your home is your business. If you want to be stupid, go for it. I am for the legalization of Marijuana. Yesterday, all3 mentioned that we don't need more impaired drivers. This can be policed in the same manner as DUI's from alcohol and should obviously still be crime as you are endangering other people's lives.
I work for a beer distributor. After a year of studying studies, our HR department got rid of the random drug test for marijuana....unless you have a CDL and drive a tractor trailer. The company was super anti-weed up until January 1st and the studies showed that we were really just cutting ourselves out of a huge part of the labor pool.

Our insurance didn't go up any more than normal according to Super Chip, our main HR dude.

It's definitely way safer than alcohol.

Oh, it's very dangerous to the part of the brain associated with decision making and emotional processing. The science proves this. It makes you not give a **** about life. Marijuana is very dangerous. It's just not the governments place to save people from making stupid decisions that don't directly harm anyone else.
the science also shows it and it's derivatives are amazing in medicine.

My dad had his leg amputated two weeks ago. He was released today and his first stop was the weed dispensary. Took no Oxy home with him.

I did the same thing when I broke my back in 95. Ditched the addictive **** and went for the ganja and the occasional Aleve. Never missed a beat.

As for not giving a **** about life....smoke sativa if you're going to do something fun or housework...smoke indica if you are ready for bed. It's all in the science...or the placebo effect...who knows? LOL.

#1 issue for Americans is neither drugs nor alcohol but bad food. We are the fattest country and our kids are actually becoming fat. From Starbucks to Dunkins to McDonald’s to BK. It is a damn epidemic and smoking pot causes you to be stupid and to eat more. I think All drugs should be legalized. If you’re an idiot and want to do them then do them. But we need to put warning labels on BAD food because the munchies hit and people end up eating even more bad food and tang and bad luck and rsp cry about racism by skinny people are a lot more likely to be successful than fat people regardless of their skin color.

So I am OK with legalizing so long as you inform kids that it can cause an increase in appetite and make you fat and stupid. And seeing bad luck, fat and stupid is not a good way to go through life.
LOL. Good post Boris. Pluswise I agree with it.

Coach. Marijuana FLOWER is not "benign".
It's usage in MOST humans does NOT produce the scary effects you delineate (most folks still "give a ****" about everything they gave a **** about before)
Most folks don't become lazy and useless.
Some people can't handle many things available to them without becoming useless in some folks viewpoint.

Responsible individuals establish "rules" of self control and personal public behavior that effects WHAT they do when doing dangerous or enjoyable activities. Most responsible folks (for just one example) when choosing to engage in intimate behavior with some damsel in distress whom they don't know fully will choose to "wrap that rascal" before proceeding.
The same sorts of "rules of self control" apply to Marijuana usage.
Wise folks always eat prior to imbibing thus dealing with the widely know side effect that Boris is concerned about. Legitimately BTW!
Wise folks use creatively inspiring strains during the day when attempting to produce creative work, for another example.
I'm afraid you are trafficking in hysterical propaganda in your assertions.

That is NOT to say that everyone should smoke Marijuana flower nor that it is benign.
Likely, as with all things. It is helpful to some folks, and quite harmful to others.
Just like information........... or food.
Both can be dangerous if misused and abused.

Wouldn't dare suggest that all3 smoke some flower.
I'm pretty sure the result would be potentially perilous.
It COULD result in much confusion and concern. Not everyone can deal with learning that long held preconceptions and beliefs are wrong. Their self identification can get turned upside down.

Imagine IF somebody like that all the sudden "got in touch" with their feminine side.
The next day they could wake up scared examining themselves in the mirror for "changes" or something..............

Bob, we need to have beers before it's all said and done. Bravo.

As someone who smokes weed or eats an edible a couple times a month, I'll say this:

- It definitely impairs your ability to drive. People that claim you can drive high no big deal are wrong.
- There's no way to really test for it in a DUI situation. THC stays in your system for days or weeks after use. But you aren't high.
- On the other hand, anyone who is willing to drive high now wasn't worried about whether or not weed was legal before.
- It's way easier on my late-30's body than alcohol
- You can't kill yourself with weed
- It's not addictive in the traditional sense. People can get "addicted" to weed like they get addicted to french fries but there isn't a withdrawal issue or anything like that.
- Big picture, it's relatively harmless when compared to opiods or benzos or a myriad of prescription drugs.
SPOT ON

I went dry in January and got into it hard in Vegas over Super Bowl weekend. I didn't have a hangover that first day, but I felt like someone had just beat on all my joints with a rubber hose. Ankles were swollen to high hell. Alcohol is evil...it sucks I like it so much. LOL

What's your excuse for posting so much stupid ****?
LOL.

1. pot and alcohol on teenage brain - similar problems.
2. pot until recently was great way to put black people in jail.....sessions was licking his chops to go back to the good old days.
3. some people get jealous about people having fun and enjoying life - pot enhances the experience in recreational times.
4. lots and lots of things people enjoy can be harmful in some way......life is short...have fun.....people are not dropping dead from pot.
5. prohibition for the very same reasons on alcohol failed and no one is talking about alcohol prohibition anymore.
6. violence and pot are not connected.
7. the dude abides
8. hash brownies are the best.
9. pot does not make you forget about life...it brings happiness into life.
10. how many people in usa are on lexipro and the like.....people need help and pot helps.
11. people should not be punished for finding ways to dream a little while awake...it is amazing.
Love it. Number 3 is so true.

I'd much rather be smoking one of god's creatures than taking man made synthetic crap with side effect that range from suicidal intentions to the ***** not functioning to get through a day.

Strikeout keeps talking about how there really haven't been a whole lot of tests about the effects of marijuana...I can tell you why and it rhymes with Big Pharma.
