So, players do recover from injury on placeholder days? Are we sure about this?

This whole injury thing is fascinating to me. I have a really good prospect who has a tight hammy, lost 1 speed and health rating and is out 9 days. I know he will gain speed, likely 1-2 total points and likely range, which would be helpful. I’m worried it will come at the expense of splits and contact. Will those also improve at some point later? Am I stunting his growth in those areas by putting him on the 60 and letting him gain speed and range?

We're about to enter Free Agency in Plumpy, and I was going to do some looking at what the market has to offer so I can compare with internal options...I know someone came up with the rule of thumb that 1 point of Pitch Calling is worth about 1.3 Runs Created for catchers, but has a similar analysis ever been done for field players? IWO, is there a guideline that says 1 point of Glove (or some other rating) is worth X number of Runs Created? If so, would someone mind sharing that?

When you get the password to change parks, does it let you reset your budget too (even though you had the same team last season)?

No.

Follow-up, if you're a commish, how do you change cities without losing commissioner powers. Just send a ticket to admin?

I think you have to transfer commish powers to someone else, change cities and then have them transfer commish powers back to you. Kinda a PITA.

Going into the all-star break, I had hoped to reshuffle my rotation to get my ace the ball in the first game after the break. But the ball has landed on my fifth starter instead. We’re not even to the HR derby yet. Is there a way to fix this before the regular season resumes, short of demoting my fifth starter?

@LoboOne04-- no. You have to anticipate this and make the adjustment before the last game before the ASB.

1) Not sure he'll gain range if he didn't lose it in the first place.
2) As you know, you lose 60 days of his ordinary development time if you put him on the 60-day. I've seen prospects who appeared to gain back the following season all their development previously lost to injury, and I've seen others that seemed to just lose that development time permanently. So I think it's a gamble to make this move.
