As I understand it she gave up her citizenship to move to Syria and join ISIS. She then bad mouthed her parents and such that they are infidels. She was only 19 so it is tough. I think because she renouced her citizenship she cannot come back but I am not a lawyer.

Renouncing citizenship is actually a formal process. She didn’t do that. The US government is arguing she was never actually a citizen because her father was a diplomat.

If that’s true, she’s out of luck. If not, she gets to come back and face criminal charges.

If she comes back she goes to jail for a long long long time. Still better than being in Syria I bet. IDK her father was a diplomat.

She made her decision, now she gets to live with it.
While I agree with this to a point, if she's a citizen you just can't get rid of her constitutional right to due process
Yeah. I see both points of view. She is clearly a bit*h but being a bit*h doesn't strip her of US citizenship (if she actually is one.)

Sounds about right.

Her father's diplomatic status lapsed a month before she was born?

So she was an anchor baby? Guess that means she'll always be welcomed by the liberals.

So you are saying the men who wrote the Constitution were liberals?

Any chance we can revisit Nationalized Healthcare and why it will never work in the US under the current system?

If you read the post above yours, you see the other guy arguing claiming that he's right without any factual basis to back it up either.
not quite the same thing. strikeout is saying is you work hard and make good choices you have a better chance at success than someone who does not work hard and does not always make good choices. Personally, I can't really argue with that. Its not foolproof, but you are more likely to be successful. That is only logical. It doesn't guarantee success, but your odds are better.
BL saying he knows for a fact that anyone who voted for Trump is a complete idiot is a very stupid thing to say. There's no way anyone could know that for a fact, since it isn't one. Its like me saying I know for a fact that all Red Sox fans are morons. I don't know that for a fact. It is just what I believe!
Where can I find this magical crossroads of life that points me the way to a good decision every time I have to make one. I would love to find it.

I know plenty of people that work as hard as any other human and have no wealth or riches to show for it.
Once again, working hard is not a guarantee of success. I know many people who work their ***** off and barely keep their heads above water. All I am saying is the odds for success are better if you work hard than they are if you don't work hard

Topic of the day: Alabama woman leaves for Syria to join ISIS. She is now suing Trump admin to return to the US. Should she be allowed to return? Why or why not?

https://www.aol.com/article/news/2019/02/22/american-woman-who-joined-islamic-state-sues-to-return-to-us/23675707/
Meh. If she’s actually a citizen she should be allowed to return and charged with whatever crime. If not, nope.
wow. I agree with BL. If she is a citizen, let her back in, and charge her with whatever crime she may (or may not) be guilty of.

if being a ***** stripped one of their US citizenship, we'd have a lot fewer citizens!!!

why does everything have to be about politics for you? In a debate you voice and try to support your views. Politics really shouldn't play any part in this debate.
