115 for me in an OL (team got swept in the first round), 128 in a prog.

I checked the all-time records of the three prog leagues I've played in (something like 125 total seasons) and to my surprise no team ever cracked 130 wins.

Oh, good point, I forgot about those. Feel free to include them but I did not in mine

124-38 twice in theme leagues
109-53 thrice in an OL
113-49 in a progressive

I've only played in a handful of OLs and themes. Best I did was my first OL where I won 96 games and advanced to the LCS. It was a free team that WIS gave out for joining the site. Ironically, it was my only winning OL team. Equally ironically, my sole sim championship was with a free sim basketball team. However, I chose not to keep on playing basketball.

Best I've ever done in a progressive was the inaugural season of kallison1's True Rookie Progressive. At the time it was 16 teams, and I won 117 games. And with no Wild Card, I missed the playoffs!!!!!

121-41 in a progressive league

I haven't played in an OL in years so I don't remember my best record there. The theme league team won the WS. The progressive league team lost in the first round of the playoffs.

No idea what my record is for theme leagues.
Most of my OL teams are intended to win 90-95 games and then dominate in the playoffs...can't remember what my best OL regular season record was. I doubt I've ever won 110.

My best prog team was a 1986 squad that went 126-36, then 11-1 in the post season. Led league in scoring (1046 runs) and fewest runs allowed (482). 4 twenty game winners, including Mike Scott (30-5).

122-40 in an OL - easily the best I’ve seen. Frank Owen, Addie Joss and Tully Sparks in Petco with solid defenders...lots of 3-2 victories! I believe we were 67-14 at home...and of course knocked out before reaching the WS!

$120 mil, DH, AAA theme league.

Was winning about 75% of my games all year long until a losing streak right before the end of the season. Still could've gone for win #120, but I was in the middle of a WS losing streak (I had lost 9 straight WS up until this team) and took extra precaution to make sure this team didn't f@%k up.

Also peep the two 200k players batting .300 at the bottom!

Went 133-29 in an open league . . . lost the WS. Had another one go 131-31 . . . got swept in WS (that was a Superman team with Clarkson). Had one other go 130-32 . . . won WS with that one. All the data is in notebooks at home, will get more deets later. Anyway, I micromanaged the f*ck out of them.

This was all as barranjoey in the long long ago, in sim terms. With that i.d. I was better at regular seasons, worse at playoffs. But I can't imagine winning 130+ in an OL now even if that was my goal.

119 wins in an open league. Lost the WS to Ligapelota. Later won 115 in an open league and lost the WS to Ligapelota. At least I lost both to the best.

Several years ago, I had a team win 106 games and finish 3rd in my division. This was in an open league.
