You guys ever ask why there is not a bi-partisan bill to ban lobbyists? Hmmmm.....
Then all the worthless, lazy*ss politicians would actually need to try to stump for their causes instead of sitting back watching others get paid do it.
We certainly wouldn't want them to actually work, would we?
Then who would have the time to throw all the BS at the "opposing" Party? (Aren't they all supposed to be on America's "side"?)
No politician is on America's side. Any politician is only on his or her own side. If tat happens to coincide with America's side, great! If not, too bad.
All politicians, huh. Interesting.

It's cynical but probably true 90+% of the time.

Topic of the day: Interventionism vs. Isolationism. Where do you stand and why?
3/1/2019 8:57 AM
You all know where I stand. It is.not our place to get involved with every little conflict and situation. We create our own enemies.
3/1/2019 9:14 AM
Go NATO! Go NAFTA! Go WTO! Go UN!

there's nothing stronger than a carrier battle group backed by a worldwide network of lawyers

we get our way when we run the system

While the UN is a steaming pile of bureaucratic ****, The United States of America is an empire. I have to side with interventionism.

The UN has not done worse than the US.

On a side note, its official AOC is further alienating the majority of her party. She is making a list of moderate democrats so that they can be primaried and voted out. She wants the party to be as far left as possible. I guess she doesn't realize that the majority of the party are people more like Wylie than like B_L.

Well, that would be something IF she successfully follows through with it (assuming not every Dem will heed the warning.) It's quite a potential power play. If it works, she is, in effect, Speaker of the House with Pelosi being a puppet.

Since Pelosi is a very canny politician, I'm guessing it won't work. Either she will be ignored and back down or she will follow through with the threat and watch most of the moderates win their primaries.

This is what happens when you only get your news from Fox etc.

What actually happened in that meeting:

In a closed-door session, a frustrated Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) lashed out at about two dozen moderates and pressured them to get on board. “We are either a team or we’re not, and we have to make that decision,” Pelosi said, according to two people present but not authorized to discuss the remarks publicly.

It is interesting how afraid the right is of AOC.

Fox News. com has had at least 2-3 AOC "stories" at the top every day since November

Obsessed much?

If you mean that the right is scared of someone holding great power that is clueless to reality, yeah that's pretty scary. Other than that, I would say her stupidity is more comical than scary.

P.S. I don't watch Fox News. I actually don't even have cable tv. My source was the Washington examiner.
