Really? Poor opinion in my view.

Montana had help. Rice is (perhaps) the GOAT, too! (at his position).
Plus, the 49-ers had overall excellent talent around Montana.

Montana was nowhere neat the GOAT IMO. I could name several QB's with better overall career cases to be made.
Even Bradshaw is ahead of Montana, isn't he?

And old timers are gonna claim Unitas and Starr are both better.
Here's the rub (IMO) on debunking Montana's claim. Elway won as many rings!
