Well, if those two parents swear differently, I'm sure scientists are wrong.

I would never joke about a topic such as this. Scientists also believed the Earth was flat at one time. They are not always correct.

If you want to watch a sick show, watch Banshee. I leave it up to the parents as there are conflicting reports on whether or not they cause autism and such.
THEY DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM

IT SHOULD NOT BE THE PARENT'S CHOICE
Says you but yet I speak with parents who swear differently. Stating their babies were fully alert and smiling and post shots were not the same. I vaccinated my kids but I don't blame those who are cautious. You're not a parent. You don't get it. I agree that parents SHOULD vaccinate but it should not be mandatory. Kids who are not are at risk for themselves not to others, correct?
No. Vaccines do not cause autism. They never have. There was one study that showed a link and then it turned out that the doctor who did the study faked it.

It’s a public health issue. There are people who aren’t able to be vaccinated for whatever reason. They rely on everyone else getting the vaccine so that they don’t die. Vaccines must be mandated.

Sadly, I didn't think you were joking.

Whatever. This is getting old. If you want a thread where we throw shots at one another create one. I will respect KO and try to keep it civil. Gladly throw shots with you, Tang, bl and dino any day. Just create the thread.

?

No one is throwing shots at you. The topic is should vaccines be mandated. You seem to think the answer is no. It’s yes.

I just think it's silly that you base your beliefs on what a couple of people say. It's been a consistent factor in what you believe in.

Vaccines should absolutely be mandated. A decade long study just came out yesterday or the day before. Vaccines do not cause autism.

This is a very popular myth. There was never anything that could be referred to as a scientific community that believed the earth was flat. The ancient Greeks knew the earth was round. The Arabs knew from the Greeks. The Chinese knew. A lot of people who absolutely could not be referred to as scientists believed the earth was flat, because they didn't know any better. Just like a bunch of similarly ignorant people believe that vaccinations are dangerous, while the people possessing actual scientific knowledge on the subject know better.

im sorry but i cant let that go when it was you who created the original lack of civility and i will go out on a limb to say that strikeout understands my reasoning for redlining better now.
stay in your lane bro and dont start to lecture others on civility.

Yup. I can't understand why someone would want to belittle the scientific community when they've arrived at a (near) conclusion............. oh yeah, except for the ignorant, the biased, and the corrupt.

Vaccines and Autism. Wakefield’s 1998 study reported a possible link between the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine and the onset of autism in children with gastrointestinal problems. More than 20 studies have since ruled out any connection, but they didn’t focus on children with gastrointestinal problems. So in 2008, researchers led by Mady Hornig conducted a case study that did. Again, they found no evidence linking the vaccine with autism.

that was ten years ago, there have been other studies since

the science says no link

I am for vaccines but I don't think it is fair to force someone to do something to their body that they or in this case their parents don't want to do. Abortion literally kills a life but I am pro choice because I don't believe a woman should have to be forced to do with her body what she doesn't want to do. I am not sure what you're not understanding. My beliefs are based on personal experiences many times, you are correct. Why is that so wrong?

KO then asked me to stop. So if you want to go toe to toe do it in a different thread was all I said. Had you asked me to stop in your thread I would have. "Stay in my lane"? LOL thanks Lavar.

Also - this has been alluded to already in this thread - the Wakefield study was formally retracted by the journal that published it. This happened as a result of the fact that the corresponding author confessed to having entirely fabricated the data. Turns out he had financial conflicts of interest. He also did the research in question - the same for which he falsified the results - without appropriate/legally required ethical oversight. So in addition to publishing fabricated data he was also charged with abuse of the study subjects - children with developmental disorders.

This is the hero the antivaxers follow.
