From what I understand, it increases the risk in people that are predisposed to the conditions.

Topic of the day (for all3's sanity): Daylight Savings Time! Does it still carry any benefit or is it unnecessary?
Changing is dumb. We should just stay in DST all year.
3/12/2019 10:29 AM
I agree. I don't see any benefit to time changes. I may be missing something obvious, but it doesn't make any sense to me to change.

I disagree. One of the issues he ran on, and won on, was border enforcement.

He may have lost the battle, but may still get his wall.

I don't agree with everything he says and does, but he is doing what he said he'd do. Repeal and replace is his only promise he hasn't made good on...

Most Americans had no idea what he would do. Based on his accomplishments versus his campaign promises, how will voters view him for reelection ? He is a known commodity, love him or hate him. If the economy continues on this trajectory, he may not need a change of address card for awhile.
He is going the wrong way on -eliminating the debt-.
True. His OMB chief addressed that today. They are looking to reverse that. Spending is still too high. And they could eliminate some of the loopholes that the wealthy take great advantage of. They could tweak rates on the wealthy. But it is a concern. In 2015, Trump said 24T was the over the falls number...

Funny how the Left are concerned now, they didn't give a rat's *** as Obama drove it up through the clouds...
I don’t think the left (as a whole) is terribly concerned about the debt. I’m not.

I do think the hypocrasy on the right is hilarious.
Yeah you just want the 99% tax rate on the rich because you're "not concerned".

It was done to save electricity, energy, etc. IDC one way or another.

Seems like if it's not political and you guys can't call each other names, then it's not important and you don't care. Is that really what we've become?
3/12/2019 10:48 AM
If the Trump budget goes into effect...it won't...the deficit will be double what it was in 2016.

I'm good with just having daylight savings time always.

I used to believe that to, but with all the recent stories about DST, have realized there is zero truth to it.

I could go for the permanent DST idea. Much rather have the hour of light at the end of the day than the beginning.

the sun in the sky determines high noon

the fact some jackass in the capitol wants to call it midnight or anything else means nada

It won't go into effect, which makes releasing it a huge political misstep.

Do you think spending more money than you have is a sustainable course of action?

There is just as much hypocrisy on the left as there is on this right.
3/12/2019 11:50 AM
For the US government, spending more than you take in is absolutely a sustainable course of action, as we've seen for the last 40 years.

For this specific topic, there is significantly more hypocrisy on the right.

No one is unbiased.
Wrong.
Explain.
Do you speak for everybody?
Not sure how acknowledging the fact that everyone sees the world through their own personal lens could be “speaking for everybody” but no, I don’t speak for everybody.
Cool.

Then stop pretending that you do.
tec, I rarely, if ever, agree with BL, but name me one person who is unbiased. Just one. Everyone has biases. Some may not show those biases, but they still have them. It is human nature.

ha! ha ha! Trump? Doing that? lol

He IS on record as saying that he is open to it.
he is on record saying a lot of things. Many of those things he says turn out to be complete bullshit.
