Of course. But most folks are a slave to some clock. They work days. Evenings are for relaxing and then (trying to) sleep. Folks tend to be UP and around at 5 and 6 PM. In Arizona we want that time period to arrive as late in the day (sun-wise) as possible. DST puts the sun farther UP into the sky later in the morning/day. Thus, it gets hotter later (3 PM is hotter than 2PM for example). We'd rather have the peak heat intensity earlier allowing for at least some night-time cooling of the outside air.

Of course, for me, I like to have ALL my daily work done by 9 or 10 AM. That way I don't have to do anything all day except what I want to do or like to do.
Working is for you younger fellas. I take care of my mornin' Bizness, (all the non mentionables except I don't even shave anymore!) clean up the result and (possibly) last nite's mess, find my slippers and my daily devotional and get on with.............. not much of nothing!

depends on who the republican was. If it was someone else I could not vote for, I may vote for a 3rd party candidate or I may skip voting for that specific position at all

I wasn't OK with either. I just don't judge every member of a group by what the most extreme ones do.

And you know there are just as many crazies (if not more) in the republican party as there are in the democratic party.

Do you agree that the Republican party sides with Jews over Muslims? And that numerous elected and appointed Republican officials have called the religion of Islam and it's followers things like "problematic" in recent years? If picking sides in somebody else's religious wars is "evil," Republicans have a big problem.

The real issue here is CCCP's perception that anyone who isn't islamophobic is anti semitic. You either hate Muslims or you hate Jews.
