I have a guy who played 3.3 in the first 14 games (didn't play in 5 of those games, factored in that), and I received two emails from him.
The first was: "Coach, this may not mean a lot to you, but well, I'm getting really tired of sitting at the end of the bench. I told everyone that they could put it the bank I'd see at least 9 or 10 more minutes of action every game. I'm only playing about 1 minutes per game. What's the deal?"
The second was: "All I asked for was a little more playing time and I'm not seeing it - I let you know about my concerns and you don't do anything? Here's a concern for you - you may have an extra scholarship next season."
After the second email, I increased his playing time and he finished the season with 14.5 MPG (one start). I never received another email after the second one. His WE is -17. Will he transfer?
If he’s a freshman or first year player, and you did not fulfill promises made during recruiting, then it’s very possible.
If he’s not a first year player, I have not heard of any of them transferring in 3.0, so as far as I know, it’d be a first. Lots of guys have *tried* to make scrubs transfer in 3.0, with no luck.
