and i agree with that fully....as a professional communicator she has a responsibility to speak more clearly and in a more inclusive way esp that subject...it should be easy to understand her comments.

once again, my problem is that she could have worded it better. the way she said it sounds like she is belittling 9/11. That is not what she meant, but she could have worded it better so it was not interpreted that way by anyone.

she has an obligation not to speak like trump.

What she said was pretty clear cut. How her political enemies “interpret it,” is somewhat irrelevant, since they aren’t going to do anything other than trash her no matter what.

probably true. But if all someone saw is that she said "somebody did something" without hearing anything else, it can come across as her marginalizing 9/11 whether someone is her opponent or not. As an elected representative I think she has an obligation to be clearer in the words she chooses to express herself. I feel the same way about any elected official regardless of whether I agree with them or not. It is one of my biggest issues with Mr Trump. In my view he does not express himself very well. I still would not agree with the vast majority of what he says, but if he at least expressed himself with dignity and clarity, it would not bother me as much. If you feel different about what Omar said, that is your opinion, and you are entitled to feel that way, just as I am entitled to feel the way I feel.
