No draft consideration? Please explain Topic

Hey guys,

I am quite proud of one of my players, that I snagged as an unseen recruit and who REALLY skyrocketed and is now actually in the 900s. I really shouldn't be in DI since all I know about the game is to try to recruit good players and then ignore them the rest of the time, but I want to know why he isn't receiving any love from the Draft board when there are players with lower stats than him showing as probably being drafted.

Can you explain how it works?

His cores need to be much higher for him to be considered for the draft board. Part of the reason he has over a 900 rating is because his WE and DUR (and, ST) are so high and I don't think any of the 3 are taken into consideration when determining draft likelihood (stamina may be but not as much as a player's core ratings). For a PF he realistically needs to be 85+ in ATH, REB, SB, LP, and DEF and he only clips the 80 mark in LP. He's a solid overall player but the fact his cores are in the 70's are likely why a big 6 school didn't sign him.

I believe that how highly touted they were as a recruit also impacts it.

Nope. I sorted by Overall and went down the list. He isn't anywhere on the Big Board.
