The Alexander Joy Patrick League wants to expand two teams in each league in 1917.
This League has been in existence from the very first season of professional Baseball and we want to grow to 24 teams soon.
This expansion will give us two 10 team leagues and with a solid future ahead we want to expand to 12 in each league in 1920 or 25.
Not enough players you say....WRONG....we run an American League Draft and a National League draft independent of each other. Two player pools. There is no interleague play currently.

WE HAVE AN EXPANSION DRAFT PLAN....IT FOLLOWS:
II. DISPERSAL DRAFT FORMAT
.....A...Current teams designate players for dispersal draft.
……...a. 1. each current owner will be allowed to protect maximum of 18 players.
……...a. 2. each current owner will have to designate at least 6 players for dispersal draft off of their 1916 roster (inc IR).
……...a. 3. each current owner will have to designate at least 1 pitcher, and 1 middle inf (ss or 2b) or catcher.
……...a. 4. each current owner must supply at least 400 IP and 750 PA or 500 IP and 650 PA for 1917 dispersal draft.
……...a. 5. each current owner would supply the commissioner a list of the players for their team's dispersal players.
…....…...5. b. This list should be in order of preference for reclamation of players because each owner will only loose 3 players to the expansion teams in their league (thus supplying 12 players fort each expansion team in each league.)
..............5. c. When one player is selected in the dispersal round the Commissioner will remove your highest listed player (ie. the player listed as 3 on your team's list is taken in 1st round then Commissioner will remove player 1 from the designated dispersal eligible list) you provided.
.....B. DISPERSAL DRAFT: part one
..........a. Dispersal draft is two teams per league. Coin flip will determine the initial order of the dispersal draft rounds in snake format.
..........b. Format will be>>>Team A, Team B, Team B, Team A, Team A, Team B, Team B, Team A for each round with opposite in each subsequent round for both leagues in separate draft. This provides 12 players per expansion team.
III. C. DISPERSAL DRAFT: part two
..........a. Expansion owners will then continue their dispersal draft being allowed to select 6 players per team from players not selected in 1916 but still remaining on the Available Players draft list from 1916 (note there are plenty of quality left as we drafted for 8 teams from a pool created by 12 MLB teams).
..........b. The above Team A, Team B, Team B etc. format will be continued into this phase.
..........c. This phase of the Dispersal draft will bring our expansion owners to 18 players.
..........d. After this the new owners of the expansion team may drop up to 2 players from the players they took from existing team's dispersal designated players and replace them with players still available on the 1916 Available Players list. Players dropped will be added to 1917's Available players list.
III. THEN THE REGULAR 1917 DRAFT.
A.....SIMPLY PUT: our regular draft format (worst selecting first then up with playoff teams and world series participants selecting in final spots) will be used with the simple exception that the expansion teams pick 1 and 2 in each round with those expansion owners flip flopping 1st and 2nd selections each round. (expansion team selecting 1st in dispersal draft will pick second in the 1st round of this portion.
