Here's one more question, sorry for the pestering, what about players one drafts that has a missing upcoming season but one wants to keep them on their roster because say 1949 is good? I have a player that is missing 1947 but is back with a decent 1948. Do we own player rights til they retire or we cut/trade them? Thanks.
As long as you list them as IR on your keeper list, they're yours.

My pitching staff is set for 3 or 4 years with me draft..... lineup set for 2 or 3.

Cant wait to see how this turns out. Maybe Ive no life, but since Im recovering from back surgery Ive put a lot of focus in this all the way up to the Tommy Hughes pick which fills my staff out for next season. Im putting a bunch of thought into my last pick even lol. This is going to be a good league! Good work!

How about playing players in positions they are not qualified for? Do it at your own defensive risk or is it not allowed?

I didn't state it in the rules, but I am 100% against playing guys out of position. I'd prefer it not happen and would likely make it an official rule if necessary.

I agree with that. It goes against everything that this is technically about. Should put this to a vote.

sometimes you have to...not to tank.....just like a real life team.......i have used infielders at diff postions in good faith out of necessity....
i dont like to see anybody but a catcher play catcher or outfielders playing 2b or 3b or ss.
sometimes a 3b can be very effective at 2b. for example....or an of playing 1b.
