Real talk: once someone's window has closed, can we start drafting after the pick before you is in? Waiting the entire 30 minutes is death by 1,000 cuts.

Assuming we draft round 2 on Monday (WHICH MEANS EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET THEIR KEEPERS IN ASAP), I should be able to make it work. I may miss my time slot for round 3 but everyone is welcome to pick. I will chime in when I can.

Unfortunately it's always been if someone has been skipped, you can't pick until your time slot has arrived

That's what he's suggesting we change - if the person directly in front of you has picked, why can't you just pick? We'd get thru this much more quickly that way. Someone letting their pick window 'expire' should not hold up everything.

It wouldn't, though. Only the person who no-showed would feel any consequences.

Let's say Team A is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., they don't pick.
Team B waits till 1:30 p.m. and makes their pick at 1:30.
Team C can then pick, but Team D still cannot pick until their time slot or until Team C has.

The only team punished is the one that didn't appear for their own time slot.

Ah, I see. Interesting point. I'm not going to change the rules mid-round, but I am open to implementing this as soon as the second round if there are no objections.
