Who wants free healthcare for illegals? EVERYONE running via the Blue Brand. LMAO.
tardplay is for it too since he cannot understand that 2+2-10 = -6.
Who wants children locked up in cages? EVERYONE running via the Red Brand. LMAO
cccp is for it too since he is a partisan hack.
tardplay, how would you solve the issue? Let em roam free?
Stupid tardplay.
My solution?
1. Go back to catch and release, with heavy incentives to show up to trial.
2. Never use detention centers and remove military from the border.
3. Ban sanctuary cities
4. Deploy aid to central america, like we did earlier this decade.
5. Keep ports of entry open.
6. Make the pathway to citizenship open and more accessible.
That's what I would do about asylum. Our-non asylum immigration systems just need to be more accessible, and I don't actually mind focusing on more merit based immigration, so long as it doesn't trade off with asylum.
This narrative that democrats don't care about border security is completely asinine.
Using my numerology method.
#1) What incentives? How do you catch and release when these people could be criminals and the kids may be props and not theirs? Please elaborate. Is there a number that you have in your head that equates to too many illegals?
#2) Where should violent criminals who try to cross go? What if the people in border cities feel unsafe?
#3) We agree. Wow. I am shocked you are on board with this.
#4) I agree. Somewhat. How do you ensure the cartels and corrupt politicians do not just pocket the monies?
#5) OK?
#6) More accessible than what? Need more specifics.
All the Democrat candidates raised their hands when the question was asked if illegals should have free healthcare. Pretty frightening.
#1) Asylum seekers are not illegal immigrants. They become illegal when they don't come to their court case, while a overwhelming majority do, especially with proper oversight. The fact is that asylum is a legal process. Very very few are criminals, like I would say less than 1% of 1%. Remember, people applying for asylum are escaping gang violence and persecution, and to apply you have to allow border security to apprehend you.
#2) Did you ever consider that border cities might be disturbed by having military sent to your city? Surprisingly enough, people don't like it when their city turns into a warzone. You make asylum about criminals and violence, when in reality it is about fleeing violence. (Btw, there are examples of border cities complaining about this)
#3) There's no need for sanctuary cities if detention centers don't exist, and legal asylum seekers don't have to fear ICE. Don't know why you are surprised, I have always been anti-sanctuary cities.
#4) You only give to NGO's, like we did with the alliance for prosperity. Like I said, drastically reduced crime and poverty numbers. Trump slashed these programs.
#5) Opening ports of entry permanently would ensure that border officials have a less difficult job, and there is less cloggage at the border.
#6) More accessible than it is now? I'm not an expert on DACA.
It kind of comes down to whether you think healthcare is a human right. I'm not sure we should give healthcare to people who intentionally come to break the law.
