Sheffield hit .330 in '92 to Gwynn's .317

Hank Aaron, home runs.

Not Ty Cobb...Heilmann hit .394 to Cobb's .389 in '21 for Detroit...

Nope. Adcock hit 35 in '61. Hank had 34 that year...

Well I initially assumed Pete Rose was too obvious to be right, but since nobody has said it yet... he batted .300 every year forever when not a lot of guys were hitting .300.

Joe Morgan outhit Pete in '74. Even Pete doesn't have enough seasons to build a streak to match...

Speaker I think came up a little short, another guy who kept hitting .300+ into his old age. But probably not 18 consecutive years. I'll put my thinking cap back on. Is this some deadballer hitting HRs?

This player is in Cooperstown, despite never winning a Cy Young or MVP award. Never hit .350 or 50 homers, never had 250+ strikeouts or won 25 games in a season.

They have to be qualified, right? It's not, like, Rivera for ERA.

His .296 in '19 was 4th on the team. That kills any chance of it being Speaker...

Alright, this gives me one more guess. If it's not this one I'll give up and let somebody else play.

Mel Ott. Could be HR or RBI.

Congratulations. ..

Master Melvin led the New York Giants in Home Runs every year from 1928 through 1945. Eighteen straight seasons...

Woohoo! Only took me 4 or 5 guesses...
