I really hope that the D1 teams that don’t go for D2 JUCOs continue this philosophy... keep doing it guys... nothing to see here

If it wasn’t for D2 jucos, my first year at Kansas would have been one returning senior, a redshirt, an ineligible, two transfers, and 7 walkon/simsignees. They weren’t even the good D2 jucos, they were the ones literally nobody wanted in the first session.

It was a really bad season. But it could have been worse.

7 walkons is worse than 2. 0-27 is worse than 3-24. Having a full graduating class of 6 in year 2 is better recruiting efficiency than having 8 open slots with the resources for only 6 in year 1 (if you haven’t experienced the prorated resource slide when you have more than 6 open slots, it’s a noticeable disadvantage, especially when you start signing guys).
