i dont get it - why do you think you should have cruised to a championship?

To each their own. I'm the opposite. Since my return in 2017, I've actually NEVER switched a team. I go from D3 to D2 (which is my preferred destination) after one season in a world... because we're forced to. But other than that, i haven't changed jobs once. I prefer to let the talent that i recruited win my championships for me. It just feels more pure to me.

Two more things..... 1) why not just put that $100 you mentioned in a 10 pack and click auto renew? That way you don't lose your teams. Wouldn't that help make it easier? 2) as a friendly rivalry, I'd accept your $100 challenge! Just for the sport of it! We can keep track of it in this thread here as each season rolls over. I always like games within a game for competition purposes.

The only problem may be MY rules to accept the challenge..... i mentioned that i don't job change. So you'd have to come to a 1x world where I'm at. And to make it a fair starting point like you said, you'd have to have a roster of all your players, and an A+ prestige. So it may take about 5 or 6 seasons for you to build that up, before we could begin, and then we'd have to stay at those same schools for whatever amount of time that we set the challenge up to be.

I'm game if you want to go for it! We can call it the "Top/90 Challenge". And winner can have $100 in credits or 10 seasons credits. Whichever is easier for WifS to transfer. We could track it here if you wanted. But I'd honestly prefer sitemail. If i were to win, I'm not doing it to smear your name (maybe you'd want to smear my name!). I'm doing it because it offers a different angle of competition. And because YOU put the challenge out there!

If you're not interested, i understand. 1x worlds do take a long time. And when I've attempted 2x worlds i just can't keep up. So realistically we're looking at over a year in real time. lame attempt at redirecting to the original topic - hey, so, i still don't get why anyone thinks this is a shoe in team in the first place. probably something meaningful to discuss there about the defensive values of press vs man and the offensive values of fb vs everything else, things like that. i like the team for their depth, but that's not enough.

my perspective is probably flawed here, i havent played d2 or d3 in an eternity, but i feel like i saw a better d3 team last week.
