He’s not going to listen so it is best to save our breath. Let’s see how that ticket plays out.

Hurst, why don’t you take the energy and effort you’re putting into this argument and instead write up your team
selection strategies? Or why not come up with your own “fair” league alignments to see how those compare to Oz’s? Repeating the same nonsense just comes off as whining and is going nowhere.
I did. A totally random draw would be fair.
Fair yes, but it would do a terrible job of doing what the WISC purports to do: find the best owners. If the league alignment is totally random as well, it is very possible that someone could be in a lot of easy or hard leagues from an owner rankings perspective and therefore could either get a ridiculous advantage or be at a ridiculous disadvantage. There is also an additional problem: what if none of the 24 owners in a randomly aligned league wish to have commissioner duties. What then?

If Hurst gets his money back, I demand that he be removed as the owner from all his teams, and is ineligible from any rewards.

If he wants out and they're willing to oblige him, then he should be ALL THE WAY OUT.
Seconded

I don't see how that's possible considering leagues are all starting play. If he is refunded his gift certificate, he should be ineligible for any rewards, yes.

This is a terrible idea because it would delay the tournament for everyone. I'm more than happy to cover his GC personally.

I do not have any leagues in common with him. If needed, I would volunteer to manage his teams and forfeit any rewards from them.

Its highly likely that we’ll now have 6 lame duck teams that’ll never be checked and skew things.

Whatever. You talk about scams. You’re the scammer. You knew what you were getting into, yet you wait until now to cry foul so you can try to milk some credits or a GC refund out of it. It’s pathetic.
I saw the stats and they looked skewed. I am a customer after all.
Which stats? The stats for leagues look fine, as ozomatli showed you.

If you are talking about the division difficulty rankings, well we showed you mathematically why top owners would have lower difficulty rankings in completely fair divisions. Also, the division difficulty rankings of every division is a random sample of the population mean (the league avg difficulty ranking) generated by Whatifsports. Unless the population mean is skewed, the random sample is not skewed either.

so much this. The last thing he should be allowed to do is delay the tournament.

But what if he just refuses to tend to his teams now? That’ll throw things off.

There are other options.

This is getting a bit out of hand. I'd like to ask that people stop commenting on this issue. I simply do not have more time to address this tonight.

Yes that difficulty distribution. And that was because the secret formula was skewing it that way.
