I'm probably one of the few that is fed up with both Israel and the so-called Palestinians.
First, there is no such thing as Palestine other than on paper (de jure.) Palestine exists about as much as Greater Greece having its panhellenic capital at Constantinople.
Second, Israel is brutal. Prince Bismark had a saying - a generation that takes a beating is followed by a generation that gives one. Allowing for the metaphor, that describes Israel to a tee. They use jewish history (which is tragic) to rationalize their own acts of murder and oppression.
Well thought.
So do I pick Israel or Palestine?
Who backs Israel? Who backs Palestine? AH HA! OUR FIRST CLUE!

Thank you, doug. As far as picking, I would vote for something we should have on our own election ballots - None of the Above.
Interesting.
And how would that void be filled? Our deferring to noncommittal.
Would one or the other disappear? How would that benefit the globe? Is it even ethical.
I simply can't agree to genocide.
I agree in part. Morally, condoning genocide is wrong and, in a perfect world, the two sides would choose to live in peace as opposed to the alternative.
Unfortunately, people have been hating and killing each other there since before the use of Egyptian papyrus for writing. I would respectfully agrue that there is an irreconcilable scism between the two groups that will never end...and I won't play referee for people hell-bent on mutual destruction.
I agree. It has been written. The die is cast. What is known is known.
Not predestination. An observation. Evaluation. Since creation.
And we got a peek. And that day is here. And if I'm wrong...I won't be the first...or last.
I can't stop or change it. I can only think I'm slowing it down. Free will. Choices.
But the end does come in a universe of matter. TIME is the outlier.
The past is the only window to the future. And I got a Blues Clue.
