Yeah I mean there is really one person talking politics... maybe two people nodding in his direction and everyone else just laughing at him.

I like engaging in political discussion basically more more than anyone. But no place for it here... I don’t want to have to restrict my pool of leagues any further because I need to avoid the owners that are known POSs.

My first league with this dude. Is it always like this?

My thoughts exactly. Anyone who knows my side hobby knows that I will chew someone out in person over politics (or anything), I just don’t want to deal with politics here. This is my escape because it’s everywhere else. I barely interacted with him and now he’s harassing me via SM.

I dont want to report him, I don’t want to block him, I just want to leave it at basketball. Crazy, right?

So would anyone like to bash my interesting choice of players thus far?

One of my earlier teams, I don’t remember if it was here or the ODL, I had Bron and Barkley and lost. Someone in the draft said I should have drafted Gasol instead of *** *******.

I suspect that they were right.

As per usual, bds doesn’t know anything about the SIM, but thinks he does. Gasol sometimes goes in the 6th. He could’ve waited until his next pick for a 29.2 CReb% guy who doesn’t play SF. Amateur hour!

I don’t think Gasol was a bad pick here. Were there better players out there sure, but with Pau you have major Versatility. He has several usable seasons depending how your team shapes up.

In all seriousness, I have a plan that features a rarely drafted player at SG. Overall, low turnovers/high defense/great efficiency and boards around Steph should be a good formula. Just let him do his thing without taking the ball away from him.

The Wilt trade with vancem has made this a bizarre draft for me. Did I overcharge? I will probably end this fifth round having drafted two bench players who usually go in the sixth round (if at all, in one case).

Currently sitting with the Admiral, Big Ben, Crash Wallace, Drexler, and Payton, with Valanciunas basically gobbling all the backup big man minutes. The squad seems solid but not frightening. Strong D and somewhat low on player mistakes, and hopefully on track to have just enough of everything essential. My main concern is mediocre efficiency (see: Gary Payton) and...the absence of anything exciting. Still, they shouldn't suck.

Definitely making the playoffs, Brad. Excellent D and more than enough scoring, rebounding, low fouls and blocks.

A lot of upset people after the JV pick. He is what a lot of people are looking for.

I have Gasol at #96 on my board so he went right where he should have gone IMO.

I think I am usually devoid of emotion in my analysis... I wouldn't say "amateur hour."

You have a good rebounder in Camby. You can draft another later. I think you will be fine.

Except for three point shooting and general shooting efficiency, I'd say the team doesn't really have flaws. Good job.
