Has nothing to do with being scared. It has to do with fairness - people should be able to know 2019 players were eligible before making their protects (they may have made different decisions).

But this could have a major impact on some people's teams while having next to no effect on others. The fact that everyone had no idea doesn't make it any more fair.

Well if we don't go timed on Friday, that means we'll waste another 3 days as it will be likely timed on Monday (and untimed over the weekend) which will frustrate more people once we hit the people who won't make picks on the weekend.

I don't understand the rush to have to play 2019 players *this* leg. Can't people be patient and wait a few months (never mind people might of wanted to play different teams if they knew we're going to use 2019 players).

I voted for the middle option despite it being objectively the least fair because it moves things along faster. Sin can post keepers tomorrow and maybe we'll be timed on Friday.

We could balance out the unfairness a bit (if that's the option we pick) by implementing a rule this leg that no one can draft a 2019 season. You would only have the options in house. Food for thought.

edit: I realize we draft players not seasons so I guess what I'm saying is no rostering a 2019 season for a drafted player.

I submit again that I would have chosen another team with my franchise selection if 2019 players were available. I am very strongly against using them this leg. I cannot stress that enough.

I'm surprised we're considering 2019 seasons at all but I'm okay with any of the choices, the fact that sin put a poll out so that everyone can make a proper choice instead of everyone chirping at each other makes it much easier to just roll with whatever outcome.

We were unlucky with the timing of it. I'll do whatever sin decides, whether that's relying on the poll or his own judgment.

This is a good reason to oppose 2019 players being included, but realistically way too many peeps here are desperate to try out the 2019 players. The only way to solve both problems would be to re-do the franchise draft - but that would be a major extra delay in getting this leg of Rule V started and therefore I would strongly oppose that idea.
