Recruiting question - interest level Topic

I discovered a new player once signings had started and added him to my target list. When I went back to look at my targets, this players interest level was none. All other players on my target list show as very low. I have given no attention to any of these players yet they are very low and the new player I added is none. Why is this? Do we accumulate some attention points just by having a player on our target list?

This player is considering another school like most other players on my target list so I'm having a hard time believing that is the reason. I'm wondering if the player having no interest in my team means I'll have to put in more effort than I would if the interest level was very low.

Nope, 4 year recruit.

What do you mean "target list". Recruits don't have an interest level unless you spend money/AP on them.

The target list is where you categorize your players (green, blue, yellow, red). When you add a player to that list they do have any interest level of very low before you give them any attention. This particular player showed an interest level on none rather than very low which I do not remember seeing before.

I know what he's talking about. But I forget the reasoning behind it. Maybe is it based on the Division you play in, compared to the division you recruit at?

From D2, I only scout D1 player pool. My players say None until I add APs. But I'm thinking if I scouted D2 pool players, those players may start at very low.

Overall tho, I'm not sure why this matters. As little as 1 AP changes it. So it's not a big deal

All the recruits on my target list show very low, even if I never spent an AP on them.

So I did a test to see if a recruit I scouted but never added to my target list or spent any APs on would show any interest level. I added them to my target list and they also showed as "very low" interest.

But, if I discovered a new recruit and added them to my target list before a recruiting cycle ran, they show an interest level of "none". So there must be a VERY small amount of interest acquired just by scouting or discovering them.
