Worth taking a player like this, competing against high D-1 teams? I like the speed for a PF in a FB/Press, but I really despise the Ath and Def. And how much would his low athleticism play a part in not being an efficient of a scorer as he could be if he had 90+ Ath

Remember the golden rule of it has to be 200 points better than a division III lower tier team. I know few who follow this model but it goes with good results also its whoever player is better than your team.

He'll score, but still not as efficiently as a decent guard. I don't think I'd be willing to give up that much defense and rebounding in a post to get above-average but non-elite scoring.

With my teams, I would probably take that guy if I missed on my top guys, unless I already had an older version of him. With FB/press, I would be less likely to target him, even as a 4-year bench player. Too hard to hide his defense until he has upperclassman IQ, so the risk of foul trouble leading to stamina problems probably steers me elsewhere.

Still better than a walkon, though. ;)

that's not even above average offense in my book, for a FB offense. its too reliant on ath/spd, for a high d1 big that ath is crap. so playing against high d1 teams, no, i'd definitely pass
