Does it include a player option or no? Am I better off to offer the PO or the full 5 years? I searched and found conflicting things.

The only controversy I know of about this is that some people think the no-trade is irrelevant (but not harmful) unless the player specifically asks for a no-trade. Since I have never offered a max contract myself, I don't know which side I believe.
