Since this took a bit to get rolling are we still starting the draft on Monday (assuming you know everyone has even picked by then)

We're going to push the start date back a week so that people have time to research the player pool. We should still be ok time wise -- I built in a buffer

Really interesting choices so far

Part of me always knew Fernando Rodney had bounced around the league a lot. But until I got to write down all his teams onto my available seasons list I never realized just quite how much

Can we skip someone for this round? I don't feel like it'll make a difference. If someone selects the player jmissirlis was going to take, it doesn't really change anything. That player will still be nominated.

That's a good point. If anything, there's more of an advantage to making your nomination later in the process, because you have more knowledge of the available players that you could choose to effectively blacklist (if you decide to go in that direction) and more knowledge of the players who are already effectively blacklisted, which could help inform your nomination.

[edit]
But perhaps that's an argument for not allowing someone to be skipped; because doing so would give them a possible advantage that they otherwise would not have.

On the other hand, if it were a greater advantage to nominate last, then the #1 ranked owner would have gotten that advantage, no?
