I actually agree with bad luck. Elections have consequences. The GOP is getting everything they deserve but he missed the bigger picture, not surprising given his lack of intellect. The people need to know the truth. The political games have become super partisan and annoying. Party over country. Ridiculous.
The people need to know the truth. The best way for Congress to get the truth is through closed hearings. That way witnesses can’t coordinate their testimony and members are less likely to grandstand.

Eventually, the hearings will becomes public and you’ll get the full rundown of all of Trump’s crimes.

BTW, do you think it’s ok for the President to hold up aid (aid that has been appropriated by Congress and signed into law by the President) in order to extract a personal benefit from the country receiving aid?
No, I do not. Depending on what the "aid" is and what the "personal benefit" is. But big picture, I 100% absolutely agree with you. It is suspicious when it comes to Hunter Biden and the monies he received from Ukraine and China but I am also sure it has happened 1000s of times to other kids of politicians. Par for the course.
No need for quotes around aid. Congress appropriated defense aid to Ukraine. Trump signed it into law.

Then Trump held up the aid. That alone is illegal but when paired with the reason for delaying the aid—to pressure Ukraine to do something to benefit Trump’s re-election campaign—we get a very real problem.

This is a very straightforward criminal act that *should* result in resignation or impeachment and removal. But we live in bizarro world now and that likely won’t happen.

Silver lining, this impeachment process isn’t helping Trump like all the retarded pundits predicted.

I am sure there is a counterargument with him being the Commander in Chief, blah blah blah. Everything has become so partisan that I do not even care anymore. If both parties want to be ******** and make the political realm like the WWE then so be it. I am looking forward to the Trump vs. Warren debates. It will at least be entertaining. Obama and Romney were boring.

What is this "have become super partisan" nonsense? It has been that way for a long time, cccp.

Truman, when visiting Magic Kingdom, refused to ride Dumbo...because it was an elephant.

Jefferson and Adams' supporters probably lamented over the same drivel during the 1800 election.
Perhaps with social media involved it is just more pronounced now? Everyone should have been celebrating the death of that ISIS leader. Instead we were squabbling. Ridiculous. I am fed up.
I agree with just about everything you said just then.
Thank you.

Not quite sure where in the constitution it says the Commander in Chief can hijack congress's power of the purse. Can you point that out please?

HINT: You won't find it and impoundment was stopped in 74 because Nixon was abusing it. How ironic.

I just said I don't care anymore. I could argue this further but I am not going to because I don't care. You're also a partisan hack and a loser. Having conversations with you on any topic kills more brain cells than alcohol. Forget politics, you're just an *******.
10/30/2019 11:00 AM
If you didn't care, you wouldn't post.

And there's no argument to be had here. You are just plain wrong.

And I've been called an ******* by much better people than you.

Cheers Boris!

[CCCP, talking to himself] “So here’s the plan, I’m going to back Trump as my guy as long as I can. I’ll support or excuse his racism, I’ll pretend to like his tax cut plan that only benefits the wealthy, I’ll proclaim to love how much he ****** liberals off. But if he does something clearly illegal and puts himself in jeopardy, I’ll pile on the cynicism as deep as possible, claim both sides are equally bad, attribute anything negative as partisan politics and pretend to be done.”

There isn’t or Trump’s people would be making it.

At least Moy was smart enough to cut the cord awhile ago. Would love to revisit our farmers/soybean tariffs conversation again.

You two should get a room. All set with both of you. The next debate I lose will be my first. I posted to share I have now moved to hate both parties and the media. I am pretty much all set with Politics. May abstain from voting going forward.

Christ, you’re loser. Wow. Not quite on the level of bad luck but you’re gaining quickly.
10/30/2019 11:50 AM
Your ad hominem game is on point today.
10/30/2019 11:53 AM
Most reasonable people knew that, at some point, supporting Trump would be a losing proposition. Eventually, he would cross lines too big to defend and all but the most ardent racists, trolls, and xenophobes would bail on him. And the only way to bail and save face is to bury yourself in cynicism.

"I give up on politics, it's all partisan bullshit, even Trump [exasperated shoulder slump] couldn't bring down the establishment, so I quit."

This was the inevitable landing place for a lot of Trump supporters.

Good news is that it shows CCCP has at least a tiny sense of shame bouncing around somewhere in that skull.
