Well the draft goes on the clock on Monday. If people are taking this long to make their picks, those at the end of the round will get burned as they'll suddenly find themselves with an hour to make their pick.

5 days can make a big difference. At least having a plan for the first couple rounds requires knowing enough about position depth and quality to make good decisions. I wouldn't expect to put anyone in a position of having to draft without the information to do that. We all are hurt if even one team performs extremely badly, because it skews things. Better to be patient, I think.

Those of us in the back are screwed anyway you look at it. I don't even care anymore......

Concerning researching the player pool, it takes an hour just to research Fernando Rodney... I. Cant blame anyone for not being ready yet. Personally, I've only gone through the top 10 nominated players plus Joss (and that took a very very long time to do) and won't be able to do any tonight. I guess not knowing how to set up a spreadsheet is a bigger disadvantage than I even anticipated. ******* ******

Why don’t you just scroll through ozo’s list on the front page? Doesn’t take too long and everyone is there.

I apologize if I missed this somewhere. But I have a question about the "no combined seasons" rule. Does this only apply to the players we draft or can a teammate be linked to a combined season of a nominated player, where there is no partial season available for that team?

The spreadsheet on page 1 suggests that this is right. It includes teammates of 2019 Fernando Rodney on the Oakland As, but his only eligible seasons with 2019 Oakland is combined. I think barring a very quick ruling from Mike saying otherwise, we should say that teammates of combined seasons are ok, but combined seasons themselves are not.

Are you actually serious??? I probably shouldn't even respond to this, but I just can't resist.... It's literally just a list of the names of the players available. Unless you've memorized the stats for every individual player season, then you still have to look them up (Which is the opposite of "doesn't take too long")... It's easier for me to go through the teams available and record who is draftable than to look up each individual player. I understand that that probably isn't the most efficient way to do it either, but I don't know how to do it any other way. If you're knowledgeable to draft a winning team by just looking at that list, then congratulations- you're far beyond genius level.

Unless you know nothing about baseball, it’s very easy to identify the top players to target in the first few rounds, which gives you breathing room to start more research for later rounds. But it has become very clear that you’re just someone who loves to complain about everything. I won’t try to help anymore.
