Surprised to see how many people are spending early picks on guys who will be in the game for 3-4% of all innings... Then again, dougpalm only has one hitter so far and feels more confident than I do according to the poll, so maybe I'm missing something.

Regardless, I wish this guy had more (read: any) SLG, but I'll take 700 PAs of .448 OBP# with A range in Round 8 any day

I was deciding between Carter and Thomas and went for the position scarcity first. Wished Thomas could have slipped through to next round.

He was certainly on my shortlist. But I think a couple really quality relievers can make a difference in close games, which I expect a lot of. And to make up for less-than-scintillating starting pitching. Tough calls every round.
