My thought process: Have only deadball pitchers who allow a lot of balls in play. Make one of them Clarkson so the person has a hard time managing the innings, and as few pitchers as possible for mop-up, long-relief duty. Then, get a bunch of sub .900 fielding percentage players to botch all those balls in play. Like a lot here, I intentionally drafted as few innings as possible for second, third, and short and made all those players brutal fielders at that position.

I'm not an expert on how the normalization works for fielding so I may not have calculated well.

The rest of your staff is stacked with high-quality innings though. And the infield defense you drafted are pretty good fielders as well.

Anyway, I'm not trying to criticize anyone. Just noting the variance between top and bottom teams.

No, my infield defense is terrible. The 2B, 3B, and SS all have horrible numbers. They might be highly rated elsewhere, but they'll have to play at their terrible positions unless the owner wants to play someone out of position.

As for the pitchers, yeah, the other ones are good, but that was the price for how I wanted to do the offense. Probably not going to go well for me.

I think for future iterations, we should align divisions by draft order. Owners who luck out with a top draft pick should have to face other good teams more, IMO.

I want to see how much roster quality vs. managing skill affects the results before making this call. This theme is going to be a pretty good experiment as there are good owners with "good rosters", good owners with "bad rosters", decent owners with "good rosters" and decent owners with "bad rosters".
