Max on Inelgibles? Topic

Quick update. I had 4 openings and was in the early mix for 3-4 ineligibles. When the dust settled, I ended up with none. Higher division teams edged me out. I signed one but only after one became eligible. At most, I would have signed 3 as I wouldn't want to play with less than 9.

I had 2 at the end of 2.0. I sent in a ticket and they said they closed the loophole I unknowingly exploited.

There was a loophole and nobody told me about it? WTF?

did you know that for the first 3 years of 3.0 you could get free HVs and CVs? as many as you wanted? (but not in excess of the player limits)

actually, you probably still can

I currently have 2 Ineligibles on my McNeese State team in Wooden, so 2 for a human coach is certainly possible.

Getting a win out of this team with 7 scholarship players on the other hand...

i thought seble always maintained that we should be able to sign as many ineligibles as we wanted, when you say he closed the loophole - are you saying he made it actually impossible to get 2? or that he was actually making it possible for everyone else to get 2 now, without going through the loophole?

I was searching for something else, and came across this thread from last month. I currently have 3 ineligibles on my Texas Tech team in Knight world. (Beasley, Jones and Miller)

I am trying to figure out what class they count toward. I have signed 3 HS players, and want to sign one more, but I don’t know if those ineligible players count against my incoming freshman class limit the same way a redshirt would. Anyone know?

They will count as sophomores .
