Dippedncrack had the worst record for the first 162 & the best record for the 4th 162.

NebHusker had the worst 3rd 162 & tied Dipped for the best 4th 162....

A tiny bit frustrating, I'm sure, but the positive spin is staying a whisker away from a great owner makes you a great owner, too.

I have also seen non-increasing win totals per each set of 162 games (89 - 87 - 83 - 83 - 82), just hoping I can get more than a single team into the playoffs with the (currently) 5th best record in round 2. Through 138 games, I've got one team pretty much in (70M, +14), another one barely in (90M, +1), three others on the outside looking in (110M, 130M, 140M all -3), and my 180M just playing out the string (and hopefully getting a couple of extra wins).

Hard to believe the word "best" is next to my name in anything concerning round 2. What a complete disaster.

I'll take any props I can get. I also have accomplished my goal of having every team win 60 games by game 140. I'm even no longer in 24th, I'm up to T-22. In case you're wondering, I got a major promotion at work in October, and had to work a lot of hours, even weekends. The stress made me less interested in building my teams, except the 140M team where I am leading my division although I had the 23rd first round pick. The worst part is that last month I was demoted and had my hours cut, so things didn't work out in life or in the WISC. I'm just trusting in God that things will work out in the end.

My 140M team has been the lone bright spot in round two. Two things in particular

I used my double up early. I got 1B Carlos Delgado in round five he is leading the team in hr and rbi. My second pick in round nine was RP Cla Meredith who has been a very good closer.

round six pick SS Hanley Ramirez has 43 rbi in part time duty, which is nice. But the most pleasant surprise has been Amed Rosario drafted in the 24th round as a fill in SS. He has 46 rbi.

My "surprise" pick was Bill Nicholson (round 19). I kind of waited to long to draft my third starting outfielder and was trying to keep flexibility. I ended up with 1943 Bill Nicholson (real life stats .309, .386, 531, incl 29 HRs in 644 AB).

He is currently at .282, .351, .508, with 31 HRs in 531 ABs. He is ranked 5th in slugging and 2nd in HRs hit in the entire league.

Joe Magrane, Round 21: 11-6, 3.33 in 156 innings.

He's more than half a run better than any other SP I took.

My 140M team clinched the division so I have accomplished two of my goals. I’m at 412 wins so 431 is within reach.

My teams that still need to win keep losing, and the ones totally out of contention are surging. These last 10 games are just nail-biters now. I could have anywhere from 1 to 4 playoff teams.

With 6 games to go, only 1 point separates the top 3 in the standings. Brianjw currently has the most playoff teams in that group, so you have to give the edge there.

Also, my 110M team has finally been caught for best overall record. Schwarze's 140M team also has 100 wins now. I knew my team would slow down, though it's been much slower than I would have liked.
