These two I agree with, they are good things. AS LONG as by "strong borders" you aren't referring to the stupidest Trump idea yet, a 2nd century concept of a border WALL! As I have repeatedly stated a WALL is stupid, impractical, wasted expense (MILLIONS of bucks!), and useless concept IF the intent is a secure border. We need a technological barrier!! Sensors, drones, BP agents on patrol responding to the information received from the "eyes and ears" of modern technology!!!
You can NOT physically accomplish squat trying to build WALLS across washes that DRAIN the floodwaters of the desert SW.
They will wash down, blow over, be cut thru with $8.00 blades, or be climbed over, tunneled under, or went around!
