Maybe I should have said "overall" good, or "generally" good, or even "morally" good.
That isn't to say that Trump hasn't done ANY thing good.
I'd sure hope so after 3 1/2 yrs.
We'd likely be in a huge mess if HE hadn't managed to do some things well enough, no?

the great depression started in august 1929.
still in nov. 1932 hoover got 43 % of the popular vote - from almost all white men let me add.

after a year and a half of iraq war bush 2 still won re-election.....we were warned....his win will continue to have ripple effects for decades.

smart people already knew enough truth about watergate when nixon got reelected.....the dems made it an issue.....republicans said no.

how can someone from a different point a view from a different view of society and bigger pictures tell you that you are wrong.
history tells us that the cake is baked.
Sometimes people get elected and re-elected not because they are 100% good but because the other choice/choices are worse. Trump can fit into that catagory. HRC was a proven hypocrite and crook. It sealed the deal for Trump.

"hillary was certainly not a crook.
and what part of her life was not dedicated to public service was dedicated to charity."

Thanks for that! After reading such depressing nonsense in so many of these posts, it was great to get such a huge laugh! I will give Hillary credit for this much: she never, as far as I know, tried to use an outfielder as the catcher! I think I'll stop checking this thread, it has finally produced something worthwhile!

Who is a better Mycroft Holmes, the one from the BBC series, or Stephen Fry from A Game of Shadows? Fry has been given the job as Narrator in my head. He seems to explain oh so well...do have a lovely day...

Cumberbatch really makes a good Sherlock, imo...

Don't mind me, I've been binging on Netflix.

Trump Ordered to Pay $2 Million to Charities for Misuse of Foundation

The president admitted he had used funds raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to promote his campaign and pay business debts.

Probably not the first time someone has to be held accountable for actions of someone in his employment. He is ultimately responsible. So he made restitution.

You really doubt the Clinton Foundation has ever had funds misused?

AOC is being investigated for her use of campaign funds...

This is commonplace. Trump made a campaign promise to clean it up. Perhaps he is lying. Perhaps he is sincere. Give the man a chance to prove you wrong. Ultimately Dems will occupy the WH and make course corrections, just as Trump has after following Obama. The pendulum will continue to make its way back and forth. Trust in that...

President Donald Trump must pay a $2 million judgment for improperly using his Trump Foundation charity to further his 2016 presidential campaign, a New York state judge ruled Thursday.

The order appears to bring to an end the New York attorney general's lawsuit against the president and three of his oldest children over the now-shuttered foundation, which the attorney general said had engaged in repeated wrongdoing.

“Our petition detailed a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation — including unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more," then-Attorney General Barbara Underwood alleged in a statement late last year.

Did Nixon have any advance knowledge of the burglary? The evidence is not conclusive, but on balance it looks as if he did not know what was being done in his name.

Some believe he did have advanced knowledge, but most experts believe that as ruthless and sharp operator as Nixon would not have sanctioned as hamfisted an operation as the Watergate burglary.

According to a taped conversation between Nixon and H.R. Haldeman, his chief of staff, a furious president asked: "Who was the a**hole who ordered it?"

His mistake, and a grave error it was, was not coming forth and publicly outing those who committed the crime. As usual, the cover up was worse than the crime. They got what they deserved...

Well we don't know how much of what was alleged in the petition was true, we only know he had to make restitution. Perhaps he had first hand knowledge of the wrongdoings. Doesn't matter, he was the responsible party.

Same for Trump University. It could have been the handiwork of someone Trump put in charge, or perhaps the wrongdoings were by his hand. Either way he takes the blame. Nasty business...things like that shouldn't happen.
