The monopolies and corporate mergers took place long before Trump became President. The Democrats and other presidents before Trump have had plenty of opportunity and time to do away with those mergers. If he believes them, yes he is. I seriously doubt that is the case now. Some on this site still do believe the numbers, which makes them no better than Trump and therefore shouldn't criticize.
and I wouldn't go so far as to say someone ALWAYS believes someone else because YOU really don't know.
