Appreciated, but I am historically mediocre at draft leagues. schwarze usually does much better and he has the complete opposite strategy in this draft that I do

The NL West has drafted two pitchers so far -- both of them by me. I figured it's easier to go after pitching early in the draft when you took Babe Ruth in the first round.

I have not done well in the few D.E.A.L. leagues I've played in so don't use me as a baseline to what the right strategy is. When I decided to take Babe Ruth over Silver King, I pretty much decided to have some fun and go heavy offense. If I put together a monster offense and play in a hitters park, it's my hope that all these stud pitchers will get pulled by the 5th inning.

In the old days, if this was DEAL and you made everyone wait for 6 hours in the middle of the day, there would be hell to pay...

Fortunately that guy mellowed out, just ask him...

I know I know...I'm beating myself up about it. Now that I know how many "mroning people" we have in this league, I will send a proxy list next time! On the bright side, I STILL picked an hour and a half before my "scheduled" time!

No moaning here. We all get busy. Some of us get more anxious than usual (me included). Trapped at home and plenty of time to check and see if your turn is coming.

Back in the old days, '68 Gibson was a BEAST! I don't remember when but there was some update years back, before the salaries started going up on certain players, and I swear he took a huge hit. Did anyone else notice this as well or was to just me/small sample size? I'm not playing enough, especially recently, to get a real gauge on how players are performing these days.
